Question| to dip dye or not to dip dye

I have a confession to make: I am not a big fan of hairdressers. I fear them like most people fear the dentist. The result just never is what I ask for, so I always go for safe: just a few centimeters less and that’s it. So my haircut isn’t that special, but it isn’t bad either. A while ago I faced my fears and I went to a so called ‘great’ hairdresser and did something ‘crazy’: I asked for an ombre! But ... that didn’t went well either. Remember the cos shirt disaster? But, for quite some time now, I’m totally digging the dip dye trend. I love everything about it and I’m craving for a pink one (although a blue one is also kind of cool). I ordered the dye on ebay (find it here) and it arrived yesterday and omg, IT’S SO PINK! I need your help guys! Shall I do it? I really want to, but then I start thinking about consequences like: will I still be able to wear all my clothes or are there colors that will look really horrible combined with pink? So what do you guys think? To dip dye or not to dip dye? Help!

It has been a while since I posted but I warned you guys this might happen. This is definitely one of my least favorite times of the year. And the great weather doesn’t make the studying any easier. I am talking of course about the exams. I had my first one today and luckily it went pretty well. One down, but still nine (!) to go. Sigh.

These pictures were taken a few days ago. I was wearing a casual outfit which is perfect for studying. The shorts are actually my running shorts but I think you can perfectly wear them in a more stylish way as well.

Beauty| Garnier BB cream

Hi there. This is my first beauty post. I thought it would be fun to do one of those every once in a while. First of all I need to say that I am a total beauty rookie. My usual beauty routine consists of cleaning my face twice a day with Clinique’s 3 steps. After that I just put on some mascara and, if I have the time,  foundation. That’s about it. But thanks to some beauty blogs and press releases, I got to know some great products and my beauty routine is slowly expanding.

So first up: Garnier BB cream!
I think this product is ideal for people who don’t have a lot of time in the morning. I usually think that putting on foundation is a lot of work (it actually isn’t, but I’m not really a morning person) so for me this is a great product. It’s not as good as a foundation though, but it’s better than nothing. You can compare it to a slightly colored day cream that makes your skin look a bit better. But when I want a flawless skin, I choose foundation!

Do you have any experience with this BB cream or another one? And what’s your opinion about it? Let me know!

New in| leopard loafers

I bought these leopard loafers at Steve Madden a few days ago. I was actually looking for a pair of sandals but when I saw these babies I just had to buy them. (I still need sandals though). I really like the shape. It’s much more interesting than the classic ballerina shape, which is a tad too girly for my taste. And the print is awesome, obviously. I can’t wait to wear them with a pair of skinny jeans, or shorts, or a dress … hell I can wear these shoes with everything! They are perfect for giving a casual outfit that much needed little extra. I’ll try to do an outfit post with them soon! Do you like my loafers?

The title of this post refers to yesterday’s sunny weather. For the first time in weeks I could trade my winter (!) coat for a sleeveless vest. Unfortunately it’s raining cats and dogs again at the moment.

Tomorrow is my last day of school and after that the studying can begin. I have two weeks to prepare for the exams so I don’t know if I will be able to post a lot but I will do my very best!
